A Taste of Preschool

Las week Chris and I accompanied Parker to his visit day for preschool. It was pretty cute. He walked through the gate and said "I want to go play by myself now". He spent most of his time in the sandbox with tractors and dinosaurs. He doesn't actually start school though until September. If you think about it please pray for this adjustment for our family. Thanks all! It's hard to believe that my little premie baby is going to go to school!

Watch Out Cottage Hospital Here Comes Silas

I regret to inform you all (friends and family) that our little Silas is turing out to be a Marcus Jenkins Jr! We've not had a visit to the hospital YET but we are sure it's in our near future. He has sadly taken to climbing. We have had a busy kid before... a REALLY REALLY busy one, BUT the only thing he really climbed was out of his crib. In about one week Silas has learned to climb up onto Parkers bed (a regular twin bed), our queen bed, up onto the keyboard, and on the dining table. He's stealth too! One minute he's on the ground and the next I look over and shaaazzzaammm.. he's on the table! Just all smiles too! Here's a little look at the keyboard incident.

How it really is...

Chris and I laugh our butts off at these pictures because this is how it truly is. For every one good picture that you get of your kids or your family there are at least five of these (head down, criers, a sneeze, eyes closed, etc.). I encourage you now to post a picture of two of how it really is for you and your family... good times.

been a few weeks

internet has been down a few weeks so we are pretty behind on our blogs but...we finally ordered our own and will soon be on permanantly. But for now here is our latest family pic...

Come to find out getting about 17 ( I think ) people to pose and look good all at the same time is harder then it may seem! It's nearly impossible! I look at this picture and laugh. It's hilarious. A few weeks ago Chris, the kids, and I joined the rest of the Blythe clan in LaQuinta for some pool time fun. It was great being all together. We look forward to our NEXT LQ visit.....

may tour 2008!!

well, the band and I are officially on tour...and so far we have made stops in murrieta, and san francisco. its been great! the music was well recieved in the club we just played at in san fran and the gospel went out. such a blessing. we will be here in norcal for a couple days then we are gonna go down to ucsb, then to camarillo, then chino hills. Jesus is good. pray for boldness, and favor.
