surprise visit from the holdridges

On Tuesday Nate, Christina, Lauren and Violet came to Carp! It was SO great to see their faces (as they were on their way to Disneyland with the girls for the first time). If you don't know the Holdridges they are good friends of ours from Monterey. Nate is the pastor of Calvary Chapel Monterey Bay and Christina is who I want to be as a mom and wife. Warrior Video Shoot

A few weeks ago Chris and the band shot the footage for the Warrior music video. It was a great time! What a time consuming project!!!!! The boys had a great time though, even though they shot for 38 hours straight! They are nuts! Here are some pictures from the main band shots. Emily and I brought the kids and they were hilarious. Uncle Nick, Grandma and Grandpa were there too! Good times! I'll keep you all posted on when it is due to come out :)

Christmas 2008

This Christmas was perfect and mellow! All month long we drove around looking at lights (or yites as Silas calls them). It was so fun. We went to a Happy Birthday Jesus party at the Balli's, went to the Nipomo Christmas play, had different things at Parker's school, went to Christmas Eve service (which was difficult with no childcare), home Christmas morning and then off to Nipomo for a Jenkins Christmas and Christmas dinner. I started the tradition of making homemade cinnamon rolls for Christmas morning (got a new Kitchen Aid from my Nana for Christmas). The boys got gifts and played all morning. It was a super fun chill Christmas. I hope all Christmas' are like this last one :)
