More Fun with the Nick Jenkins Family

So the day after Easter Nick, Jessica, Myles, Dominic, Emily, Selah, Solomon, Parker, Silas and I went to Santa Barbara for the usual merry-go-round, park, walk trip. It was great fun! We have had stellar weather lately!!!!!!

Easter 2008

In true Jenn Jenkins fashion I didn't take a Easter morning picture. For the 3 years I have had kids I think I have missed this opportunity! LAME!!!! But we had a great time! Reality goes ALL OUT for Easter! Lots got saved!!!! I worked with the 3 year olds and Chris sang a song with the worship team and then the bad did a full concert after the service. We ate carne asada tacos and parker bounced and bounced until he was ready to puke and then we gave him cotton candy! Came home for a nap then Chris's parents and Nick, Jessica and Myles came over. THEN we all went to the beach to watch the sunset. It was awesome! The only thing that would have made it a better day is if Micah and Steph and family would have been with us!

i grew up with this all my life, so its heartwarming to know that i have passed this gem on to the next generation. my reaction with my uncle and brother were not quite the same as silas'...i think he likes it.

Baby Solomon

Emily & Selah's Easter Party

Saturday we were invited to an Easter party thrown by Emily and Selah. It was super cute. We colored eggs, went on an egg hunt, watched a Jesus is risen movie and Emily told the kids the gospel through resurrection eggs. She did such an awesome job at putting it all together. I'm so blessed to have such a creative friend! These are NOT my gifts! Parker had a lot of fun! Thanks Em for all your hard work!

Bob the Builder

Today Bob the Builder came to the zoo! We got our picture taken with him, bounced in the bounce houses, watched and sang with Bob, and then even saw CHUBS! Chris has to work today so it was just me and the boys!!!! Wow! We came home and all crashed! Super fun though.

P.S. I have no idea why most pictures of me lately I have "crazy eyes". It's pretty funny.

Our Disneyland Getaway

Chris and I had an awesome time at our Disneyland getaway. My mom came and stayed with our boys here in Carp and brought my niece Natalie. We got some free tickets to park hop at Disneyland. It was cool because as many times as we've been to Disneyland we haven't even been to California Adventure. It was great. I mean it's not as cool as Disneyland, but it was great to check it out and they have this ride called California Soarin that's just AWESOME! Anyway of course we missed not having Parker there and every time we saw Buzz Lightyear or rode the Nemo ride or saw a cool hat we thought of him and what his reaction would be to all the cool stuff we were seeing. So we are going to try to go again this year and see how it goes. We are so tired! I can't imagine doing all that WITH kids, but it will be fun! Okay well here are some pictures of our time together. It was great to be refreshed!

Papa Comes to Visit

Friday my dad came to Carp for a little visit. It was great to have time with him (even though we missed Grandma Long Beach)! We ate some Habit burgers, walked the pier, got candy at the candy store, and rode the merry-go-round. It was a great time. Then we came home and the boys had naps and when they woke up Silas was full of snuggles for Papa and Parker was excited to wrestle. Here are some fun pictures of our time together.

My Museum Date with Parker

Today Parker and I went on a double mommy son date with our friends Keri and Chubs. We went to the really ghetto, but cute children's museum in Oxnard. Parker was SO stoked! It was $8 well spent! He was a "space guy", a fire fighter, a fisherman, a chef, and s much more. It was great fun! Not only did he LOVE this place, but he got to share it with his best bud. It was really sweet to be able to watch him play and interact with him. I love this kid. Here are some pictures of our adventure together.
